We decided to buy a high end chicken coop that would stand up to Minnesota winters.  The video below is us assembling it.   It really wasnt' bad and the hens love it.  We moved it in the fall closer to the house so we could run power to it and provide heat for them.  They've made it just fine through their first winter and never slowed down the egg production.
